HypnoBirthing® is a proven approach (and philosophy) to childbirth. HypnoBirthing® is not a new concept but rather a revival of the way of birth of thousands of years ago. The method teaches you that in the absence of fear and tension, labor can be a natural, calm and gentle experience for mother, partner and baby.

Through a program of relaxation, visualization, self-hypnosis, special breathing techniques and education, you will learn how to create the calm birth you have envisioned. You will start to see birth as normal. You will learn that your birthing muscles work best when your body is relaxed and how to achieve this kind of relaxation. You will learn to trust that your body knows how to birth your baby.

HypnoBirthing® Classes are taught in a format of five, 2.5 hour classes. If you’re nearing your birthing time, we may be able to make special arrangments for individual classes.
